State Member for Moggill, Dr Christian Rowan MP, has announced the latest community groups to benefit from the Gambling Community Benefit Fund, with local organisations securing their share from the latest $14 million funding round of grants.
The latest round (Round 123) delivers a welcome boost to groups across the electorate of Moggill, with funding helping to provide important services and support important education initiatives.
Dr Rowan said the grants would benefit community groups that have faced challenges when budgets have been stretched by cost-of-living increases.
“Every dollar invested by the Crisafulli Government through the Gambling Community Benefit Fund goes directly to the heart of our communities, and I’m proud to be able to support our lcoal organisations with this vital funding,” Dr Rowan said.
- $35,000 to support the Australian Pet Welfare Foundation in Kenmore.
- Over $10,000 for the Pullenvale Environmental Education Centre P&C, to construct a ‘Bush Tucker Garden’ resource for students.”
“The next round is closing soon and it’s a Super Round, so if you’re part of a local organisation in need of a major funding boost for facility improvements or substantial equipment purchases – make sure you get your application in before 18 July.”
Applications for the next Super Round of the GCBF, offering grants of up to $100,000, are now open and close 18 July 2025.
