Thousands of children across the electorate of Moggill are getting active in local sport thanks to the Crisafulli LNP State Government’s Play On! Sports Vouchers, with the next round of applications opening on 27 July 2026.
State Member for Moggill, Dr Christian Rowan MP, said the program was helping local families manage the cost of living while ensuring more children could experience the many physical, social and health benefits that come from participating in grassroots sport.
Since the program commenced, 2,541 Play On! Sports Vouchers have been delivered across the electorate of Moggill, helping families with the cost of registration and participation fees at local sporting clubs.
Dr Rowan said every eligible Queensland child aged 5 to 17 could receive one $200 Play On! Sports Voucher per financial year, with applications for the next round opening on Monday, 27 July.
“Grassroots sport is where lifelong friendships are formed, healthy habits are built, and young Queenslanders learn the value of teamwork, resilience and community.” Dr Rowan said.
“With more than 2,500 Play On! Sports Vouchers already delivered across Moggill, we’re helping more local children get off the sidelines and into the game, while easing the cost of living pressures facing families.”
“I encourage every eligible family to take advantage of the next round of Play On! Sports Vouchers when applications open on 27 July.”
“We are fortunate to have outstanding local sporting clubs right across Moggill, and this program is helping ensure more young people have the opportunity to be part of them.” Dr Rowan said.
Applications for the next round of Play On! Sports Vouchers open on Monday, 27 July 2026. Families are encouraged to apply for the round that best aligns with their child’s sporting season, with each eligible child able to receive one voucher per financial year.
