State Member for Moggill, Dr Christian Rowan MP, has welcomed the 2026-27 Queensland State Budget, saying it delivers for local families, strengthens essential services and fully funds every election commitment made to the electorate.
Dr Rowan said the Crisafulli LNP Government’s second Budget builds on its commitment to deliver a Fresh Start for Queensland, with no new or increased taxes and continued investment in cost of living relief, health, education, community infrastructure and safer communities.
“Importantly, this State Budget continues to deliver for local residents of the electorate of Moggill,” Dr Rowan said.
“Every commitment I made to our community at the 2024 State Election is fully funded, ensuring we can continue delivering the local projects and services our community needs.
The Crisafulli LNP State Government’s 2026-27 State Budget continues funding for key local priorities, including:
- The Integrated Road and Public Transport Plan for Western Brisbane.
- The Kenmore Roundabout and OLR School Intersection safety upgrade.
- The extension of the Route 444 bus service, and delivery of a new Footpath, to the Moggill District Sports Park.
- Planning for a additional school infrastructure in the electorate.
- A new Community and Neighbourhood Centre for the electorate of Moggill.
- Continued investment in local schools, sporting clubs, community organisations and environmental groups.
Dr Rowan said local residents would also benefit from the Queensland Government’s broader investments in health and cost of living support.
“A permanent 50 cent public transport fare, increased Back to School Boost payments, continued Play On! Sports Vouchers and a record $35.5 billion investment in health will make a real difference for local families.”
“Our community will also benefit from continued delivery of the Ipswich Hospital expansion, together with significant investments across the Metro North Hosptial and Health Service, helping ensure local residents have access to high quality healthcare when they need it.”
Dr Rowan thanked local residents and community organisations for their continued engagement and advocacy.
“I will continue working hard to ensure our community receives the investment it deserves, and I look forward to continuing to deliver on the commitments we have made for the electorate of Moggill.”
