Dr Christian Rowan MP, State Member for Moggill, has helped kick-start the 2019 Junior AFL season with a donation to the Kenmore Bears Junior AFL Club.
Joined by LNP Candidate for Ryan, Julian Simmonds, Dr Rowan presented the donation to Club President Rod Lake and local junior AFL stars at the recent Kenmore Bears sign-on day.
Dr Rowan said it was important to foster and maintain support for local juniors.
“I’m always delighted to support our local sporting clubs, particularly our junior clubs where our kids can stay fit and active in a social and enjoyable environment.
“For more than 50 years now the Kenmore Bears AFL Club have been an integral part of our community and continue to go from strength to strength. I wish everyone all the best for the season ahead,” Dr Rowan said.
