Despite the Labor and Federal State Governments being aware of the dire circumstances of the McIntyre Centre over a number of months, they have failed to act and continue to dither, in relation to the circumstances of the McIntyre Centre, putting vulnerable children and those with disabilities at risk.
The Federal Labor Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme has formally met with the Lions Brisbane West club about these matters, and yet there is still no decisive action.
What is it going to take for either the Federal or State Labor Governments, to secure the future of the Centre, on behalf of local residents, and children with disabilities?
When it comes to disability services, Labor is all talk and no action.
