The Brookfield Show in 2024 is set to amaze and delight show-goers across three jam packed days. Known as Brisbane’s biggest little country show, enjoy family fun entertainment, workshops and competitions.
The Show continues to host traditional competitions such as the Horses, Horticulture and Needle Craft, alongside the newest addition of LEGO.
Art, Woodwork and Cookery will continue to offer high end displays of quality craft and baked goods. If a painting or handcrafted wood items tickle your fancy, you can even purchase it!
There will be wood sawing and wood work displays, pig-races, trade stands, endless food options, plus thrills a minute at sideshow alley. The museum will also be open where you can absorb yourself in days gone by.
Expect magicians and puppet shows, the energetic Mini Moshers band, up-close encounters with reptiles and baby animals, and so much more for spectators to ohh and aww at.
Roving performers, school bands and the talent quest will keep the vibe alive in daylight hours and after dark enjoy the dare-devil rodeo on Friday. Trick horse riders are also making a come back on Saturday evening as well as the popular BMX stunt bikes!
A boutique, mixologist cocktail bar will keep the punters happy into the evening whilst they rock out to local sensation Gold Creek Band on Friday and brother-sister duo Liv & Ed on Saturday night.
The show-stopper this year will be a full length circus show extravaganza by one of Cirque Du Soleil’s Assistant Creative Directors and some of Queensland’s best circus performers on Sunday night. Fireworks are also set across the weekend.
So get ready for a three day extravaganza when the country comes to Brooky.
