The Main Roads and Safety Minister Mark Bailey is being encouraged to take a more honest approach to his portfolio.
Mr Baily has again drawn attention to his willingness to claim responsibility for road funding announced by the previous LNP State Government, by claiming credit for more than $1.4 million in road safety improvement works in the Pullenvale area.
The work involves the installation of new guard rails on Moggill Road between Pullenvale Road the Brisbane Independent School. The road shoulder would also be widened and new line marking and signage installed along with improved lighting.
Dr Christian Rowan MP, the State Member for Moggill, today said, “Whilst I am very pleased to see this funding allocated to such a dangerous section of Moggill Road, it is disappointing to see the Labor Party claiming credit for an improvement I had lobbied extremely hard for.”
