LNP Member for Moggill, Dr Christian Rowan MP, said an LNP Government would provide funding of $75,000 to the Pullen Pullen Catchments Group to undertake local environment and conservation work.
“The funds will allow the Pullen Pullen Catchments Group to carry out revegetation works and deliver a refuge for native animals. It will also allow for the installation of water tanks,” said Dr Rowan.
The Pullen Pullen Catchments Group (PPCG) is maintained by volunteers in the community. Its aims are to foster awareness and appreciation within the community of the need to protect the natural environment throughout the relevant catchments and to help conserve Australia’s unique flora and fauna.
Their organisation includes a very experienced and active group who are committed to the rescue, care and rehabilitation of endangered wildlife, many of which are at risk from the large number of feral deer also resident within the catchment group.
The only way restoration works to the catchment area will occur is if you vote for your local LNP Candidate, Dr Christian Rowan.
The LNP is committed to taking action to protect the environment and build a clean and green Queensland.
A vote for anyone other than the LNP will see a return of a do-nothing Labor Government which has the wrong priorities and has taken the Moggill Electorate for granted.
“Restoration of our local waterways is all part of our plan to Build a Better Queensland by building a better Pullenvale.”
