With the 2023/24 school holidays now upon us, residents are being urged to keep a close watch on their local schools over the summer break, and report any suspicious activity at our schools.
Empty schools can become easy targets for vandals and criminals, with the risk of unlawful entry, arson, stealing, graffiti and property damage especially high during school holiday periods.
The School Watch program encourages everyone to look out for and report any after-hours crime or suspicious activity in our schools.
