LNP Member for Moggill, Dr Christian Rowan MP, has today announced that an elected LNP Government would invest $7,300 in the Kenmore Girl Guides Group.
The funds will be used to purchase abseiling equipment to increase the activities available to our young people.
Dr Rowan said he was proud to be able to support the important work of the Kenmore Girl Guides.
“Guiding aims to provide a non-formal educational program designed to create the leaders of tomorrow, by building on their strengths and personal skills,” Dr Rowan said.
“All guiding activities, from weekly meetings, camps, expeditions and hikes, are driven by the girls themselves, and this funding will provide the equipment they need to support our enterprising young people.
“Only the LNP will better support Queensland families by building a Better Queensland, and that starts with building a better Kenmore.”
This commitment for the Kenmore Girl Guides is all part of the LNP’s plan to build safe and liveable communities.
