LNP Member for Moggill, Dr Christian Rowan MP, today announced that an elected LNP Government would invest $120,000 in the Brookfield Recreation Reserve Trust for restoration works to the iconic Brookfield Hall.
“The works will include refurbishing the toilet block, walkways, paths & steps, lighting & landscaping and the installation of solar power. Upgrades will also be made to the Art Pavillion”, said Dr Rowan.
“Brookfield Hall is a major historic building, constructed in 1871 – and being a very old timber building – is in serious need of structural repair. This commitment will fund an extensive upgrade of the Hall’s facilities, to ensure it continues to serve the community for another hundred years.
“Not only will this project bring significant social benefits to the community, as it is used by many community groups, it will also provide jobs in the local area.”
Only a vote for the LNP and Dr Christian Rowan will secure the future of the Brookfield Hall.
A vote for anyone other than the LNP will see a return of a do-nothing Labor Government which has the wrong priorities and has taken the Moggill Electorate for granted.
“Restoration of the Brookfield Hall is all a part of our plan to Build a Better Queensland by building a better Moggill Electorate”, said Dr Rowan.
The Brookfield Hall restoration is just one of the many ways the LNP is building safe and liveable communities.
