The Crisafulli LNP State Government continues to bolster community infrastructure throughout the electorate of Moggill, securing $150,000 for essential upgrades and expansions for the Brookfield Show Society. This delivery forms part of more than $10.3 million for vital infrastructure projects across South East and Far North Queensland communities.
This support was a key election commitment of the Crisafulli Government and will deliver significant upgrades and expansions for the Brookfield community.
The $150,000 will go towards much needed refurbishments, upgrades and expansions to the Show Society, including pavilions and exhibit areas.
The investment delivers key election commitments, supporting 10 community and council infrastructure projects across the state. The support delivers safer, more resilient and more inclusive public spaces for Queenslanders.
State Member for Moggill Dr Christian Rowan MP, said supporting local communities was key to the Crisafulli Government’s Fresh Start for Queensland.
“I promised to deliver this funding for the Brookfield community, and I’m proud to say I’m doing exactly that,” Dr Rowan said.
“This support seriously bolsters our show society, and the flow on effects of that are so important. It looks like a stronger, more vibrant Brookfield for locals and visitors alike.”
